LE modding ended, mod story and Arabella :P

So first I would like to write about why I decided to just stop modding for LE and just use SE/VR/AE from now on.

Skyrim LE support ended


One reason was that pretty much most people use Skyrim SE nowadays and I always wanted to make the jump too.

But the main reason is that Skyrim SE, despite not being that noticeable, is different than Skyrim LE. Have you always wondered why some posters were behind leaves or other stuff? It's because Skyrim SE is a "mod" that tweaks Skyrim LE to make it a special edition lol, same with different changes with how the water works and several stuff here and there so every time I wanted to port the mod to SE I had to check again what are those changes and eliminate the conflicts over and over again.

Another reason is that I would like to update the armors and use more SE stuff (maybe eventually even AE stuff)

Other reasons like a less stable game/creation kit were "tolerable" but now that I mainly use SE to mod and I already set the creation kit everything works better. I won't go back to LE. I may just use it to take some pics but eventually, I will just use SE/AE.


Mod Story

One of the things people ask me is if I will add the continuation of the story of the mod in the next update and the answer is not yet.

why?

I'm sure I mentioned this before but when the mod started there was no story or anything planned about the mod at all. Every update was "patching" some quest or dialogue over a previous thing done, trying to make some sense of it. At first, the mod was just about rescuing Yuriana then I added more captured wenches then a little story about her as a lave then Ashra, and so on.

There were some bits here and there to follow some "story" (Yuriana's background story is based on how I played the game when I used her as a player character) so there were some ideas as to make some story at least.

Currently, I think what the mod needs is to fix those things like not forcing the player to sell Yuriana or that Arabella is included more in the mod by default.

Same with other details that always bothered me or that I think they are missing. Getting subjugated wenches, adding more animations to the dialogues, or dealing with the outfits is also another thing to deal with. The same with removing old failed ideas like including the slave tokens.

The slave system also needs a lot of improvements. I think trying to progress the quest while leaving this stuff unfinished/broken is not the ideal thing.

I also think that several points in the mod are unnecessary or just for the sake of doing something so I may change some quests to be simpler or reduce some unnecessary traveling for no reason.


Arabella

I think she should be way more involved in the quest. When I added her I just mentioned she is Yuriana's friend but she isn't involved in the story of the mod or with Yuriana. One thing that also bothered me is that it looked that Yuriana didn't care that Arabella was captured too (After all Arabella was added later in the mod where several quests were already made)

One of the things I'm changing in the beta now is that Arabella should be available right after Yuriana gets to the temple. Same with her options of becoming a slave at that early point which I didn't add yet. (I just added that when Yuriana is sold at the beggars club)

She is one of my favorite characters and I would like to add way more stuff about her in future versions. :P


Fjotra

Another change is that Fjotra's replacer will be part of the mod. I think her character and the priestesses of Dibella should be more involved too. This will create conflicts with some mods about them but I want to make my version of that too.


So those are kind of the main changes, I also changed and fixed some things in the beta, remember it needs a new game and to remove the wench replacer where Fjotra was included. I will make a new one where Serana and Elisif are just changed in it.

P.S: I didn't forget about Yuriana's high poly head version is just the damn mouth is not working as it should, I think I may need to include a mouth replacer even for vanilla too, her mouth looks bad when talking lol, nothing at all like it is in the ENB pics O.o I also want to tweak the face more... I'm not 100% happy about it o.o

We talked about it on discord and I still have no idea. O.o Im not sure what to do about it since like I mentioned first time someone had issues with that effect. I wonder if that happens in a new game.

Hello! I've been having an issue with the 1.5.5 patch (latest), after speaking with Myriani (first interaction after saving Yuriana/going thru the mineshaft) the fade-in takes place but my game seems to freeze and the screen stays black. Any help?

The problem is that I'm moving conditions around since I'm changing how the quests are set. You could start the quest using setstage YW_quest_MDF 10 but I recommend waiting for the next update. I'm still changing several things there :P

Hi Kozuke. Thank you for your response. Can I confirm that the Missing Sisters quest is still the quest for Yulia if my PC ask her to help? Currently there is no dialogue on Yulia regarding to this quest and as a result I cannot start this quest. Other than this quest I have done all three other quests and when I try to talk to Yuriana, there is no new dialogue for the quest to continue.

I already changed that to fix some stuff but you can use: sqs YW_quest_BWY to check the stage you are in and then continue. The issue here is that he is invulnerable until the conversation ends but I think since he is a copy the script is changing the original lol, currently I'm changing that so people can kill him if they wanna as soon as they meet him. I'm not sure if people like this kind of as-is betas since they will have some issues o.o

Hi, I could not figure out how to use prid command, but I use "Help Kjorian" to find his ID and use Player.Placeatme to get him next to my character. However, after the conversation, when I suppose to hit him and defeat him, some strange things happen. Kjorian just sits on the throne and did nothing. And no matter how many time I hit him, he does not lose any blood, and nor does him engage any combat with my PC. The combat music did start but nothing happen. I'm kind of stuck there.

He is disabled by default in this one but the quest should have enabled him. Mmm, you could try the command: prid xx08602e (xx = the number of the mod in your load order) to be able to select him then the command: enable His name is Kjorian so that may help to spawn him too.

Hi, I just download the beta version (20230123) of this mod. I cannot find the Bandit Boss on the Slave hall of Buxom Slave Dungeon.

these updates sounds like ones really to look forward to, you're doing amazing work and I cannot play without this mod also hopefully I can use the Kangmina Serana mod(Serana replacer) with those parts that involve her

PEYN NEP

The one for Fjotra isn't optional since it's part of the mod now. The ones for Serana, Elisif, or other future replacers will be optional. In the case of the others, I guess I may need to make a post about it but I mainly want to update immersive wenches and rebalance deadly wenches so they are easier than they are now but with better difficulty options. In the case of Hateful wenches and the other expansions they mainly need to work with updated bikinis and I thought I could use Yuriana's ones too once I update those. I think the mods need to be somewhat more related to each other too :P
