Wench lore, dialogues and "World Building"

I want to make a quick post about the things I'm doing lately with the mod. While making the books and checking some previous dialogues I found some things that bothered me about the mod.

The mod when was made was pretty much made without thinking in some kind of lore and Yuriana had a simple background story. She was just captured and you had to save save her.

Eventually the mod got a little bigger but still there wasn't really a story there. Just more wenches getting captured for the player to rescue, the idea of the mod was still simple and some quests and dialogues were added to at least have an idea on what was going on.

The problem and what bothers me is that those old dialogues and other old story related stuff where kind of "adapted" to the current story of the mod. Mainly speaking about the curse and other plot points that are kind of odd because of this.


Those dialogues need to be changed anyway so what I'm doing now is to improve those old quests, pretty much all the things related to the initial quest until probably the worthy master quest.

Some quests/parts more than others. The older the quest the more things I made add change. I also would like to improve minor details like making more unique characters like Yuriana's tamer/trainer.

In the pic it says (Yuriana's tamer but I will remove that :P) I think adding something to those "minor" npcs. They are pretty much mini bosses and having them something else to say either being in a note or as part as a dialogue would help the mod a lot.

Same with Yuriana.


She should explain more about what is going on. The main problem of the old dialogues is that they were limited to use her voiced answers so the question was made thinking about what she could say making the dialogues maybe odd for the sake of her having voiced dialogues.

I think the mod at some point should be fully voiced but having bad or "placeholder" dialogues just can't work.

Currently I also changed the quest so Yuriana can be saved wherever you found her so several aspects of that quest will change too :P Like I mentioned the idea is to improve how the old aspects of the mod works.


Other thing that the mod should have is places related to what it is mentioned in the books/quests/dialogues like the dungeon where all captured wenches included Yuriana went to be "tamed" before they were sent to their specific locations.

The player should be able to visit those places as part of some quests. I would like to add more places like the beggars club where some quests start or are related to them. Also some other minor places could be added too such as Yuriana's home in Riften.
I think placing some stuff here and there related to the wenches like simple comments/dialogues of regular npcs who witnessed Yuriana being paraded and what they think about it, even if it said once, it would make the mod better.



What about the high poly faces?

I decided to put it on hold for now mainly because I need to tweak the mod so it can has the two kinds of head meshes for the wenches to use. This means I will make a patch for it that will change the head set for a wench and the facegen used but without changing how the others works.

This will also help me update the wenches from time to time until all wenches have their high poly faces. That also means people who prefer the old faces will be able to still use them if they prefer.

New wenches will only use the high poly heads though. I don't see a reason to keep making/adding low poly faces when I want to update the low poly ones :P


Any comments or suggestions about new places even small ones like Yuriana's room or other things/minor details are more than welcome.

P:S I still can't finish wench body 3.0 lol

I like the sagging big breasts in Ethel's pic too. I'm not sure if I should reduce them like in Yuriana's pic (they are still big :P). 3ba tends to make them more saggier than what it looks in bodyslide o.o

First time I heard this, are you using an old tranlation or patch? In any case she has a short dialogue with the pc so she can start following him. I think you are in stage 60, to be sure use sqv YW_Quest_HWS, if you are then try changing the stage with: setstage YW_Quest_HWS 60 That should give you the objective to go to the temple of dibella with Yuriana following you. There you should be able to talk to her, In case even if in the temple you cant talk to her use setstage YW_Quest_HWS 70 Let me know how it goes it seems every scene worked as it should but the dialogue for Yuriana which is weird O.o

Hi, I just play the latest version of the MOD. In the end after we rescue the Yuriana from the necremancer, there is a dialogue between Ashara and Yuriana. After Ashara mentioned she needed to find the book, no further dialogue between the Yuriana and the player. If PC try to talk to Yuriana, she just repeat the dialogue which will lead to the final dialogue between Yuriana and Ashara. Is anyone encountering similar problem?
