HOTEL LEX - FLOOR 4 (14/?)

Upstairs should be where the study is, perhaps what you are looking for is there. You quickly maneuver to the stairs and peer up into the darkness. Only a faint glow of moonlight can be seen at the very top. You feel an immense pressure build up at your feet and you jump up on instinct. The bunny does the same and you look back to see something reaching up out of the trap door. You don't turn to see what the rest of that looks like. You drag the bunny up the flight of steps and into the room. Your guess was correct and the space is filled with books and parchment paper strewn across. You shut the door behind the two of you as if the thing below isn't phasing through the ground at the moment. You take this moment to catch your breath and take in the details of this place. The window hangs open with no glass; the stone bricks falling apart but held together by a wooden beam. A cold breeze accompanied by a gentle glow from the sky is more than enough to completely illuminate the space. Though it is small, it is dense.

You whisper quickly to the bunny to look for anything that could be what the ghost wants. You look around the room and spot places of interest. You tap your head hard trying to think of what could possibly be in here.

You look at the open window again and spot the grin of the cat. He startles you as he mews in the wind, "Chasing me are we? Am I really that pretty? Well don't stop to admire me, you probably don't have much time here."

He points at the door and you notice frost forming. Whatever wants to get in is getting close.

> Rummage through the drawers.
> Inspect the desk.
