Game News/
I've been working on the next update at full speed now. Finishing up the revamped battle system code for the new maze levels. The new maze levels are 80% finished. Then I have just a few more things to code, polish, and bug fixes. Then we need to playtest it a bunch to make sure its working lol. So it shouldn't be to much longer. The screenshots show off the new HUD for the battles in the new maze levels. (these screenshots are WIP)

Even the HUD for when a creature grabs Diver Girl has been overhauled for the new levels. Allowing for the player to see all the info they need, while having access to the art without the text getting in the way.

The following screenshots are examples of the random events that you can encounter in the new maze levels. There is 20 of these events, and some are helpful, some aren't. But each one will require Diver Girl to use her skills, items, or gear to overcome them (or fail at them).

This new HUD style is also used for the Traps for the new maze levels, you can see with this screenshot example.

I've designed these new HUDs to display all the information easily and quickly, while no longer obscuring the artwork (for your viewing pleasure). The idea is text should only be displayed over the art very rarely going forward.
The four new maze levels are also designed to be easier to navigate (hence why im switching style for them). Creatures and rewards from battles also get stronger with each deck you clear (each deck being 13 areas plus a boss fight). With a cap at 10 decks cleared. Which will come up more frequently in the endless mode for these levels. Upon defeating a boss you get a special loot chest, and have the choice to leave the maze or go deeper (if your in one of the new levels with more than one deck). I'm also making boss variants of some of the normal enemies (Drowner, and Stalker) to fill out the boss roster. These new variants will have stronger attacks, more hit points, and access to a new unique attack.

I don't want to commit to a release date just yet. But I do think it will be ready to go by early next month or mid next month =3. It will be up for all Patreon members. The game will not be on my store till it is in v1.0 and the beta versions of it will remain exclusive to members.

Life News/
As many of you may know, I've been in the process of moving. And I've had to move in with friends from another state, leaving my folks behind. We did a gofundme last month to help raise funds, and it raised enough to help me to get up here. I'm very thankful for everyone that helped me out, and every single supporter here. It's been a rough time on my end, but I'm always committed to art and to my supporters. Things are settling into place at my new place, and hopefully will have a new normal for me soon. But I'm thankful for the place, and for the fact that I can keep working, and working at full speed ahead.
