I'm binge watching and behind but I honestly think Jon is SO overrated and the whole Wall storyline was just so tedious and drawn out so I didn't care about him and Ygritte at all and was fine with her dying (like thank god for Sam and Gilly or I would have fast-forwarded through the Wall parts up until now). I didn't like Ygritte's character too much anyway until after Jon abandoned her (and then I thought she became more compelling) but the actress was really charming and beautiful (I LOVE her accent) so I didn't dislike her or anything. But she didn't have a place in the story moving forward and, tbf, she's the one who put an arrow through Ollie's father so good for him, honestly, for giving it right back.
