Patreon Payment Declines

Some of you have likely noticed your Patreon payments not getting processed this month. They've issued a statement and apparently have mailed anyone with a "declined" status this month some info about what happened and what you can do to fix it.
Regrettably, the message came long after the declines and a number of you have been issued with fraud charges on your cards or other similar complications. I hope all of that has been resolved and I hope it hasn't swayed your choice to support myself and other creators and what continues to be a pretty bummer, but critical, platform for our well-beings.
That said, I am tired of constantly running into walls like this that affects you and I in really awful ways. A lot of creators this month lost close to half of their income over this stuff and that's unacceptable. It's lead me to look into alternatives for you to be able to support me the way you have here; I'm in the process of setting it up and will share here when it's ready.
It will, functionally, be the same as getting ZIPs every month but hopefully a bit more streamlined and problem-free since it will be direct transactions instead of dealing with an in-between like Patreon.
For those of you looking for more of the "community" aspects of Patreon, I'm still trying to work that one out. I keep thinking about starting a Discord or something but honestly I barely check group chats as is and I feel like I need to have a certain level of distance/privacy to just keep my personal life in check. We'll see? I want to find a good solution to this all and hopefully one that slowly lets me move away from here while not losing your generous support. <3
