Please visit the posting for Page #1 and I have added the page to that post.
Welcome to May everyone! Boy did April just drag on and on... and on! I wonder why that was? Lol!
I'm really glad to have paused Patreon in April as I wanted to give everyone a little bit of Covid break but it seemed like I AM the one who really needed the break I don't know if I was bummed from adjusting to the new reality or if I was bummed because the comic I was working on at the time was proving not to be as fun to draw (or read) as I thought. It was good to spend the days frustrated and wallowing in tears while I tried to figure out where to go from there.
Well, welcome the new comic series that I promised called "Women's Work"! I thought this was a total post-POST-Feminist term that is a funny title for our heroine going through a bunch of jobs in the "Adult" industry.
Chomping at the bit to get it started I figured I'd just post the first page and then the story will figure out itself however, the story has made a detour and although I know how it is going to end, it does not have much to do with the original premise and I'm sure I will eventually change the series title and series theme.
You may have also noticed that the pages are coming awfully quickly now. Probably about twice as fast! Well, that's thanks to everyone who commented on my testing out a new drawing technique to speed up the process. I won't bore you with the details as it is actually tossing out the "details" as I draw and wing it "Kim-Jung" style (if you don't know who he is... look up his drawing videos... Amazing skill to just free form draw!).
Now, of course I have to mention why YOU all are so important in this! I remember so long ago not having to draw and just tinkering with it here and there. Artist's need PRESSURE to make them faster and better and Patreon gives me so much pressure to improve. The feedback you give is so important to me and although you may think that it is just my skill that is getting better, it is your support and comments that really make me analyze my art and continue to put pressure on myself. Although many of you are not artists, you DO know what you like and the reason why you're here is that THIS is what you like and your eye will make sure it continues to improve in the direction YOU want.
I hope you are all keeping safe and finding your own bit of peace in these times. I hope you are taking this time as a gift! Although there is unemployment, uncertainty and worry everywhere our modern lifestyle never affords us to just stop and be still. I'm not saying that we should "make lemonade" but if we are required to isolate in place, maybe we should take advantage of the benefits that can be had from it.
I thank you all for your support in my art and this genre of Comedy, Erotica, non-sequitur, Gonzo, Taboo Comic Serial Shorts!
