"The Littles" Disclaimer page

I finished up the Disclaimer page.

For those who are not big on reading (ahem... Fannum) and would like to "enjoy" this without the distraction, I included a cleaner version.  Actually, Fannum really enjoys adding alternate text to art and if you would like to also, send it to me and I'll add it to this post!

I'm not sure why she's wearing a belt.  I think somewhere in the back of my head I felt it strange she was naked during the interview as Little Lorna is usually dressed.  I guess she's TECHNICALLY not nude... right?  LOL!

Thanks for all of the input and ideas! Okay. I’ll break down my thinking and what I’m taking away from all of this. First off... LOVE the chicken nuggets comment. I’m def gonna try and work that in. I posted a exit interview sketch but given your comments I don’t think what I did really hits the mark. I’ll have to redraw that. So the disclaimer is different then the intro interview. It’s just legal stuff presented in a more entertaining manner. As far as softening up the level of distress for a reader before they start reading, I guess I should do that! What to call it? BeFore-Play Interview? Love the ideas about the Easter eggs of the comic in the BeForePlay Interview and Exit Interview. Only thing I’m hesitant on doing that is that these are not fictional stories of Little Lorna. These things are ACTUALLY happening to her! This may be a little philosophical but this is how I see comic books. To me a comic story is actually happening to the characters and they are not just actors playing out a fictional story. It is a fictional existence where whatever happens in the comic is actually their story. Like a tree falling in the woods though, the comic world does not exist unless someone is reading it (the 4th wall) so in that case it is still fictional but unlike a play or movie there is no reality outside of the “stage”. I’m not sure if this is disturbing notion but I always try and remind the reader that she’s a comic character. Completely fictional. Whatever she is enduring is not being endured by anyone. It’s like playing a First Person Shooter. The enemies die in the video game world and no where else. No one is getting hurt. No mother is mourning their deaths. No guilt for shooting a human to death. There is no bridge, thread, metaphor or reflection at all between this fictional world and our reality. I think this is why some people (especially children) should not play violent video games. If they have a problem not seeing the disconnect between fiction and reality it could be re-wire the brain in a bad way! But I digress... I still like your idea of putting some “behind the scenes” in there! It would be so much fun!

Loving the disclaimer! It just that you being trying to tone down all of this was easier by showing the disclaimer. Sometimes when i watch the Kink.com scenes im like “Oh wow!”, but then the interview the peeps involved and im like “Ah, it’s all good. They probably gonna go now to McDonalds, get themselves some chicken nuggets”. In the future it would be cool if the disclaimer included the dudes involved and show parts of the backgrounds of the comic like it was a tv studio, a la behind the scene. Awesome work as always!

God damn you draw well
