The Belter language (Belter Creole) is a massive grab bag of every common real world language so they are saying real words but most people won't catch it because few people will know every word they use

2025-01-26 19:52:47 +0000 UTCCeres is an interesting little rock. I've always been fascinated by it. Stuck out there in what is essentially a shooting gallery of rock and metal debris. It would make for a great area to "set up camp" as it were. In that regard The Expanse does a really good job of using our solar system's geography to create a believable world.

2025-01-26 03:15:04 +0000 UTCI was wrong. I just looked it up. You're right. Ceres is in the Asteroid Belt and Pluto is in the Kuiper Belt. Ceres is the only Dwarf Planet in the Asteroid Bent. Thanks, you learn something everyday.
