YOUR FAVORITE TARGET AUDIENCE MOMENTS OF 2024
Added 2024-12-06 13:30:38 +0000 UTCLast year we made a Top 10 moments video to end 2023 and it was a last minute thing I threw together and chose on my own. I said at that time perhaps next year we could have the audience have input in the moments and as insane as it sounds, that time for 2024 has come!
Comment your favorite moments from any of our videos in 2024, and we will start putting the list together. There won’t be any official vote, just want to hear ideas so I don’t forget anything.

Guys! The most awesome moments for me... was when you absolutely shredded one of my favorite episodes: CAPTAIN'S HOLIDAY, along with a favorite guest character: Vash. Yeah. Hehe. Good times.

2024-12-07 22:36:20 +0000 UTCThe death of K'Ehleyr. I don't think I've seen such shocked looks and gut response from either of you before

2024-12-07 21:47:34 +0000 UTC2024: Redemption II ending on the scene. If you make a montage of 2024 reaction moments, you need to end on your reaction to the Redemption II ending. And be sure to end on the scene don't drone on with lots of exposition after. If you're tempted to add exposition afterwards just think to yourself "What would David Carson do?"

2024-12-07 21:38:32 +0000 UTCFor me it wasn't so much your reaction to the reveal itself of Denise Crosby in REDEMPTION, as it was that, leading up to the moment she stepped out of the shadows, you were trying to figure it out and pretty much got EVERYTHING right about it before it was confirmed onscreen. Proving yet again that you two repeatedly unwittingly provide your own spoilers. However, the Denise Crosby reveal that topped that season-ender, though, was your reaction to the YESTERDAY'S ENTERPRISE reveal of her on the bridge. So many great little moments but those were my favorite.

2024-12-07 16:23:27 +0000 UTC* The AI podcast from Notebook LM * the alien one-night-stand in s4e15 First Contact * as others have mentioned, the cliffhanger in s3e26 Best Of Both Worlds * the ending of s3e17 Sins Of The Father * various bits and pieces from s3e4 Who Watches the Watchers * the return of Beverly in s3e1 Evolution

2024-12-07 06:46:59 +0000 UTC"Oh, F €#÷ OFF!" "You pieces of- Did they- How could- What the- ughn." Seared in my brain.

2024-12-07 02:56:46 +0000 UTCIt's strange, but your absolute abhorrence to Red Dwarf oddly tickles me. Like, I watched another reaction channel with also no context for it watch that first episode and fall in love with the show. Your reaction was a STARK contrast. Honestly, "Two Americen Dude Don't Get Bitish Sitcoms" has the potential to be a series unto itself, depending on what you see and like or don't like.

2024-12-07 01:06:01 +0000 UTC"Shoot him!" definitely rates a mention - especially seeing as how I constantly shout that at the screen during watch-alongs now lol. Alex's love affair with K'Ehlar - couldn't take anymore after Reunion and just walked off set at the end, exasperated. Just in general watching as the quality of the show continued to rise and you just kept waiting for the bar to drop and it still hasn't. Finally, knowing that you watched your first batch of S5 yesterday and now know and are able to use the phrase "Shaka! When the walls fell."

2024-12-06 20:56:12 +0000 UTCEvery time Alex says a variation of "You're all robots!". And it should be a t-shirt.

2024-12-06 20:03:52 +0000 UTCCan't forget the (I'm paraphrasing): "F____! Did Geordi delete his holodeck program?" and all of the other awkwardness of Galaxy's Child (Leah Brahms) episode.

2024-12-06 19:26:14 +0000 UTCThe reaction to Lal kissing Riker was my favorite.

2024-12-06 17:56:29 +0000 UTCThe Denise Crosby reveal in Redemption might be my favorite, because Alex is just in bumbling confusion and Josh is just "WHAT?? ...how bout that haircut, huh?" Oh and also "SHOOT HIM!!"

2024-12-06 17:27:22 +0000 UTCThat's an example of an episode that makes a lot of bold promises early on, and then lives up to them

2024-12-06 16:50:06 +0000 UTCI went back to rewatch the Yesterday's Enterprise moment and wouldn't you know it, Patreon remembered to start at that exact moment when I hit play. As if, maybe, I've went back and revisited it a few times before? 🤣

2024-12-06 16:25:24 +0000 UTCThe Bonding and Transfigurations being brought him in every episode discussion. You guys should make a Target Audience Inside Joke tierlist. S tier is "Shoot him!" and Pulaksi ruins everything

2024-12-06 14:45:11 +0000 UTC1. The pop-off for Remmick getting shot in the face when TNG became a John Carpenter movie for 90 seconds. 2. In your "Sarek" video when I believe Alex mentioned the absurdity of getting hyped for watching Sarek cry while Data plays a violin. 3. I can't for the life of me remember where it was, but at one point you guys had to acknowledge what we'd be nagging about since season 1: The show starts to get really good in S3 and it retroactively makes earlier stuff feel very different.

2024-12-06 13:58:55 +0000 UTCThe way you acted when you saw Kehlar was back, and the one when Van Mater got stuck in the deck. Well, also your reaction when you realized Best of Both Worlds was a cliff hanging two parter.
Keith S
2024-12-06 13:53:55 +0000 UTCNot just one but a combo. Alex's hatred for Pulaski and all the call backs since she left. Which, I might add, STILL haunts the channel after 3 seasons since she is gone.

2024-12-06 13:48:05 +0000 UTCThere's only one. You seeing Tasha Yar in the teaser of "Yesterday's Enterprise." That's S-Tier in terms of your reactions moments.
Tom Occhipinti
2024-12-06 13:41:25 +0000 UTCAlex yelling "Fuck You!" at the screen when Best of Both Worlds Part 1 ended and "To Be Continued..." came up on the screen. Alternate Tasha Yar appearing at the beginning of "Yesterday's Enterprise." Those are my favorites of the year.
