Supposedly the first time he ate three meals a day was when he joined the U.S. Army. Jill Ireland was one of the most famous celebrities of that era to be diagnosed with breast cancer. She lived 6 more years after that, dying at age 54 in 1990. She was previously married to Scottish actor David McCallum of NCIS and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. who died last year at the age of 90.
