I have never clicked on a reaction so fast as this! I am glad you guys enjoyed it. I think this is one of the most brilliant comedy series ever done, and at six episodes it definitely does not overstay its welcome. I just wish there was more! I think you will have a blast with the rest of them!

2024-10-27 05:12:45 +0000 UTCTim and Eric had some funny bits, but then Tim Heidecker went on a crusade to ruin people's careers for making fun of him. A supposed comedian did this. So that made me despise the Tim and Eric show. He was just mad and butthurt that Sam Hyde's World Peace was the new and more popular Adult Swim show, and he coulnd't take Sam's edgyness. A guy like Tim who got rich from being edgy, decided to pull the ladder up after himself. This show is much funnier than anything Tim and Eric ever did IMO.

2024-10-26 21:33:06 +0000 UTCWow, I did not expect you guys to dip into DarkPlace! It's just one of the most perfectly crafted pieces of TV I've ever seen. Think about the talent it takes to make a show within a show, to make it look 80's, and then to make it purposely shitty while not trying to look like you're making it purposely shitty. It's just so, so perfect. I love all the badly framed shots, the bad takes, the bad continuity, and the weird stilted dialogue. I hope you watch all 6 episodes.

Matthew Holness, who plays Garth Marenghi (playing Dr. Rick Dagless, M.D.) has also written two short story compendiums as Garth. They are brilliantly bad!

The great man signed my book and DVD of Darkplace and Dean Lerner Man to man series. Another little gem you boys might want to visit sometime.
