2024-10-07 15:34:50 +0000 UTCI wanted to say this. This episode is the first time since joining Patreon that I’ve synced up an episode and watched it back to back twice. I haven’t done that with any episode before. Brent Spiner’s deadpan stares and silence are just chilling. And there seems to be no connection between Troi’s hallucination and whats going on with the crew. But they crafted it so well. And kudos to Marina Sirtis in this episode too! When she’s in bed, and has a frighted looked on her face, as it takes over her, her face morphs into a serious darkness. So good. And then, when she enters Data’s quarters, and in the possessed voice says “the plan has failed”, BAM! Its an uh oh. Great stuff.
