UNCUT - Game of Thrones S1E9 - Baelor

UNCUT - Game of Thrones S1E9 - Baelor

He has a supporting role in Alien3 as the doctor and ex-inmate of the prison who gets close to Sigourney Weaver's Ripley until well... (guess LOL). It was actually a pretty good performance in a less-than-stellar sci-fi movie. (Still better than Alien4!)

MertzRocks

Yeah even after 7 - 8 - um... 9? I'm not sure how many this is for me LOL

MertzRocks

Yeah, that's what I understood. I do hope you'll continue eventually. Time to go play those videos on repeat on YouTube to drive up the numbers.

Steven Linden

We watched the finale, but we are not continuing with season 2 right now

Josh (Target Audience)

Really? Fucking A, I must be mixing it up with another scene then. Thanks for the correction XD

Clyde Frog

That IS a great scene, but it WAS actually written by GRRM. :) It is the last scene in the chapter where Mormont gives Jon the sword. It's actually a little longer in the book.

Dor

They mentioned it at the beginning, though yeah, maybe it's more of a "we'll get back to it eventually".

Steven Linden

Did they say they wouldn’t be continuing? I think I missed that. They seemed to be looking forward to seeing where it goes in the wrap-up.

Pokeysaurus

Man, I'm disappointed that you won't be continuing. I mean, I understand. But this is one of the few shows I'd be excited to watch along with you.

Steven Linden

Watched the whole of the show 3 or 4 times and that hits hard every time

AzoriusMage

The scene where Maester Aemon talks to Jon Snow is one of the best scenes not written by GRRM. Before I read the books, I thought that scene felt so natural and perfect for the story, I assumed it was written by GRRM. So props to the show writers for that.

Science Fiction is often also called speculative fiction. It speculates about potential developments based on actual science. All the fantastical tech in Trek is based on actual scientific principals. It gets called technobabble, but if you break it down it usually has a scientific consistency, as least loosely. Fantasy on the other hand makes zero effort at speculation. Fantasy doesn't care about making a connection with the real world. Things are literally straight up MAGIC with no logic or consideration of anything real or reasonable required. Which is fine. Its why its a separate and completely distinct genre.

Aaron Wells

I think they cast Sean Bean because he’d appeared in a movie written by David Benioff called “Troy” which is notable for being a movie where bean lives

Matthew McKinnon-Gray

I liked him in the Childhood's End adaptation. (One of my favorite novels.)

Jovet

Jon Snow saved the Lord Commander's life in episode 8 when he is attacked by a dead ranger that returned to life as a wight. That is why he gave Jon the sword.

Randy Benton

If I remember correctly, Charles Dance had a small role as a vampire in Dracula Untold where he is the vampire who turns Dracula and also he is in one of the Underworld movies as a vampire

Randy Benton

This was a great reaction to a great episode. I wish the TNG reactions could have remained as simple in structure as these GOT ones, but I realise that you need to try new things to build the channel especially ultimately in relation to YouTube. I hope you do return to GOT sometime soon.

EXECUTION!!!

Not continuing? You showed discipline when being disciplined was easy. What happens when cliffhangers and unresolved plot points and character development sits just on the other side?

#MaxwellDidNothingWrong

Another Charles Dance movie: Alien 3. If you ever get to it for the channel (SciFi and Horror), go with the Assembly Cut, not the theatrical cut. Doesn't 'save it' but it's largely considered to be the superior version. Oh, and he was in the Schwarzenegger movie Last Action Hero, which is a fun movie.
