He has to want help. She can only do so much to guide him on that path.

I mean she does say before Picard leaves the ship that he’s still not emotionally recovered, only the physical wounds. She does specifically say that.

It always gets me when Picard breaks down. He's so buttoned up all the time. It's really hard for him to let go and be vulnerable. I think Deanna could tell but didn't push. Robert had no problem pushing because he knows Jean-Luc, his little brother, so well. I wish we got a lot more of them in the series. It's a great contrast to Picard being a boss when dealing with his enemies.

and i would enjoy every moment of it

Dark Kronis

Robert would mostly just be trying to reach everyone by mocking them. Lol

Greg Quinn

i think this just proves Deanna a terrible councilor, that she couldn't sense the massive level of emotional pain Picard was in and insist he get some real therapy, mean while picards brother with no telepathic abilities just knew at a glance and was able to get his brother to let it out, fire Deanna and replace her with Robert

Dark Kronis

Picard and Robert having the perfect brother moment. You KNOW the writer has siblings

When you said (Paraphrased)"I just want Picard to get in this guy's face. Maybe punch him' I started giggling. And when they had the argument I was on the edge of my seat waiting for your reaction. It paid off!

This one is much better

Funny, when I first saw the broom scene at the end of the The Last Jedi, it reminded me of this one. But I always felt this one did it better.

I love Robert's line at the beginning about having to cure the "sick vine." Of course, we now know it's not just the vine he's talking about, but Picard. Excellent writing!

Lovok

Good epi
