2024-08-06 14:20:03 +0000 UTCI actually found the audio annoying because it was a constant reminder of how out of sync I was. I'm glad they just do a couple of reminders because I enjoy the episodes more even if I'm only slightly out of sync.

2024-08-06 13:40:55 +0000 UTCIt won’t be much work, the episode footage is already there in the uncut, and the edits will be very plain. Rendering/uploading will honestly take longer than the editing itself.

2024-08-06 13:13:34 +0000 UTCYeah, its weird. Its too bad they can’t even play the audio while we watch the episodes to constantly make sure we’re synched up while watching. The visual I get, but the 3 seconds or so they put up the audio a few times during the episode isn’t enough. Sometimes there’s a “drift” and I lose synch when watch. In the beginning, they used to play the audio in the background quietly. Doesn’t paramount know that they’re earning more money, especially with ads if people don’t have the streaming tier without ads? They’re making more money from us.

As for the conversations, I don’t see those on the uncut reactions being affected by this, but there’s also the Discord & chats for that as well.

I wouldn't be paying to be here if I thought you were dishonest. But at best this is adding a convenience for those who don't want to watch uncut content or wait for the full edit. It's not something that makes me go "Wow that's a great perk of membership!" I have no problems finding your content here, but I'm not just here for that. It's the conversations steaming from it that are hard to follow and keep up with.

Patreon’s layout is absolutely messy and I would advise taking advantage of the collections page to easily find the uncut reactions or whichever content type you are looking for. You can also search keywords like “UNCUT” which works rather well.

It's a third version of content you're already delivering that you'll have to find time to edit and with probably throw into highlight reels at the start of YouTube edits. I applaud the grift but from a community point of view it will spread the discussion across another post and make conversation on each episode even tougher to follow. It's not easy on Patreon as it is. But I have cynic in my name for a reason, take this comment for whatever it's worth.
