2024-07-25 22:42:48 +0000 UTCThe only way to have saved our Target Audience friends from these spoilers would have been to put an iron-clad moderation fence around them with TA patron moderators. I've seen some channels do that to successfully prevent reaction spoilers, but it takes work, volunteers, and introduces delays in commenting.

I don't consider it my favorite episode but it's for sure on the list and if you want to backdoor someone into being a new Trekkie, you just casually turn it on while they are in the room, they will want more. If you're going to be spoiled just to the point of something epic coming up, I hope we're leaving you with the feeling of anxiety you get when the operator straps you into a nutty rollercoaster, we, your fans, just brought down your shoulder harnasses and locked them into place, no turning back, we're flashing you the thumbs up and you guys are about to be launched into the sky and wet yourselves. Fantastic. To be young once again. *sigh* (I'm 35 but have an old soul.) Good luck, we're all counting on you.

I've been back at work, for now, since last week so I can't watch the Thursday episodes until I get home around 4pm central since they usually drop right about the time I leave for work and it isn't possible to watch them there. Sundays I can try to get up early enough to catch it at least within a couple hours after they drop it since on non-workdays I'm usually up around 8-8:30.
