Ahhhh the neopets reference. That was great, mosco lol 😌
Also i just realised Dewey’s “love interest blob” has both masc and fem voices

A lot of the stuff in the intro is a reference to the original comics and art.

That's how friends be sometimes tho. They show up out of nowhere, have their own weird talents and in some cases even stay a lifetime.

And she didn't just show up out of no where, she was just at the library and Webby happened to go there and talk to her.

"I think it's supposed to be my love interest but I'm too threatened by that concept."
-This could just mean that Dewey feels he needs a love interest but hasn't given it much thought. Perhaps stemming from societal pressures to "find love". I know when i was a kid i had a few "crushes" that were for little more than we were in the same class and it was just the thing to do. It was in all my TV shows.
-The fact that its voice is an amalgamation of masculine and feminine voices would seem to imply Dewey is still figuring himself out and is, at the very least, open to the fact that he may be queer. Good for him.
-As we've been discussing in the Discord (with Tubby being a driving voice on the matter) "threatened" is certainly a choice of word to use here, and amplifies the possibility of it being queer-coded. Specifically leaning toward Dewey being Aspec.
As far as I'm aware, there's no further evidence of any inclinations, proving or disproving anything, BUT this does open a fun discourse. And I personally like the thought of an Aroace Dewey.

It's the FUNNIEST episode of the whole show for me.
Agree about season 3, the best episodes are just as good as the best episodes of the previous seasons, there are just more not-so-great episodes. But its finale is a great conclusion to the show overall, so it's well worth sticking with it.

Mosco, we already know how Violet knows so much. She reads a lot of books. Then when the Shadow War happened, she studied the occult to try and find logic for all the magic. She said as much in her first episode. She's just an ordinary nerd. Don't worry so much, they wouldn't pull a twist with her after all she's done.

Webbigail is actually one of three girls summoned from another world by a music box to fulfill an ancient prophecy.

I prefer the finally, but this is probably my number 2, may be in my top 5; maybe, season 3 may be the weakest as a season but its got some BANGER episodes.

If you must know: Violet was briefly best friends with Webby but witnessed her die tragically. She would then devote her life unraveling the secrets of time travel. She would ultimately successfully use time travel to save Webby but only after tracking down Lena in the Shadowrealm and killing her for a power source.

First: A Neopets reference, really?
Second: Magica is voiced by Catherine Tate (Donna Noble from Doctor Who)

As someone who saw a lot of the OG cartoon growing up, I can never stop appreciating how often Webby is able to be in the spotlight in this version. She has her own friends and her own life and is actually part of the story, not just a generic cutesy little girl (granted, it's not like the triplets had unique characterization in the old show, but they still got to do all the cool stuff and save the day). Anyway, this is a great episode!

It's actually true. Pinching yourself in a dream and you feel nothing. Though I tend to try and bite my hand. Since you know you'd certainly feel that. Also small tip. Never try reading in dreams. The bloody words change the moment you look away from then. And sometimes even the sentences don't make a lick of sense.

I think cast confirmed Huey hatched 1st. Lewey took several hours to hatch because he is just that lazy.

This is probably my favorite episode of season 2. Especially with the ending reveal about Aunt Magica.
