It’s not only bad trek but bad sci fi . Which sucks cause I wanted to be good and it looks amazing visually. But wow is it atrocious. Imo and many others

2024-06-03 11:40:25 +0000 UTCI think this depends on what exactly people most like about TNG. Many fans think season 3 and 6 are the strongest. I find 3 still a little bit dry and stiff compared to 5 and 6. I think 4 is just a little bit dull compared to 3, but still a very solid season. 7 though is one season too far. 7 even looks a bit cheap and rushed. The wigs Troi and Crusher wear (for one example) are absolutely blatant and look like they've literally just been thrown on their heads.

(With three of them below "Shades of Grey" for me) But I will still watch them when I'm doing a full series re-watch, which I do about once every five years, which I am doing now as I watch along with you and couple other reactors. So I guess I am in the "bad Star Trek is better than most other options" camp. What is the worst episode of all the series that you have ever watched? Have to think...

We all love these characters, so even when they're stuck in a less-than-stellar story, there can be some fun in just hanging out with the crew, and maybe a few lines or an interaction will be worth something. Then there is the "so bad it's good" that sometimes comes along that is worth watching for that reason. This episode really was a stinker though.

2024-06-03 01:29:43 +0000 UTCAt a glance there's six episodes this season that I would not intentionally seek to watch, but if I'm channel hopping when there's nothing on or if I'm doing a marathon of DVDs I equally wouldn't skip over them. Comparatively to modern shows, the worst episodes of Trek would be an average episode of a new show! XD
