Josh, I think you'd like Stallone in Oscar. It has Marisa Tomei, Tim Curray, Kirk Douglas, etc. It's a comedy. Clever, and fun. 💗

I've always enjoyed Demolition Man quite a bit as a fun popcorn movie. You brought up The Fifth Element in this video, and something you said made me remember when I first saw that movie back when it first came out in the 90's. You said something like it "took itself too seriously" which I now suddenly remember is the same thing I felt the first time I saw it back in 1997 or 1998, and I completely forgot I had even felt that until you (Josh) basically said the same thing. I remember now that I had been very confused by The Fifth Element on seeing it for the first time, and thought the goofiness was accidental instead of on purpose, which made the entire film feel uneven. It was only rewatching it several years later that it became clear that it was just pretending to take itself seriously, and was very "meta" in that way. Perhaps in the future you might see it again and re-evaluate it similar to what my experience with the film was. If not, that's fine too, it would be a very boring world if everybody liked/disliked the same movies/TV.

I think about this movie every time I get Taco Bell.

I think if everyone had the same opinion on everything I believe this world would be so boing.🌟

I love the movie Action comedy it's so good. 😎

Passenger 57. Wesley Snipes as the protagonist. Great action flick. Also in the pre-Blade towards Blade Snipes era.

Kicked In The Dicebags

Yeah, Demolition Man is his "comic book villain" movie. Passenger 57 was his "John McClane" movie and is one of my favorites. My best friend and I did an audio commentary for it in college, funny enough. Reaction video before they were cool 😎

Oh, and The Fan! Love The Fan

Money Train, Passenger 57, Drop Zone.. are a few more good Snipes flicks

James Bottas

Snipes as gangster - New Jack City. Snipes as streetball hustler - White Men Can't Jump. Snipes as baseball player - Major League. Snipes as drag queen - To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar. Pre-Blade Snipes was great at EVERYTHING.

Well, if it makes Alex feel any better about his take (not that he needs to feel good or bad about it) I know that Denis Leary thought this movie was a complete pile of shit, that the other actors were primadonnas, that one actor insisted on doing his own stunts which cost the production a lot of money and resulted in reshoots. Stallone was apparently flexing his wealth in some insane way. There was an interview clip with Leary where he talked about all this. Ah, yes, here it is: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=10154959463743851 Second movie he talks about is Demolition Man.
