WE AIN'T FOUND SHIT

Like I did during seasons 1 and 2, I'll share with you some notes about my own ranked list of TNG episodes, without giving away any significant spoilers. Just something the Target Audience can enjoy along with your great reactions and reviews. "Evolution" is the second-lowest ranking episode of Season 3, so your being "unimpressed" with the opener is a feeling I share. However, it's not bad - in the overall rank for the series, it's more than 60 places above the bottom. "The Ensigns of Command" ranks in about the middle, #13 of 26 episodes. This is quite good when you consider that in my ranking for the series as a whole, Season 3 has 3 episodes in the overall top 10 and 4 in the top 20. Of the next two episodes, one ranks higher than "Ensigns" and one ranks lower, but both are near the middle for Season 3. I'll leave it to you to guess which is which.

Intelligent Donkey

You're thinking of "Spaceballs" 😏

There's totally janitors. They're seen in the movies a couple times with space vacuums the size of refrigerators. No one predicted Roombas, I guess.

As mentioned in the other comments, Diana Muldaur only signed onto TNG for one season and chose not to renew her contract and left after the conclusion of season two. She then went onto "LA Law" directly after leaving TNG and stayed with that show for two years and scored herself an Emmy nomination for her work on that series.

when i first saw this for a split second I read it as "did you know Dr Crusher was black?" and though "Really?" lol. (it is possible that a white looking person who has black parents and no "white" immediate relatives because most people who are considered "black in the us have some degree of white ancestry and there's a rare and complicated genetic thing, that can and does happen but is super unlikely where the offspring gets just the exact right set of genes to appear "white". Must be unfortunate for any couple where the father assumes the mother must have cheated and the mother knows she didnt but has no way to explain it because shes completely surprised) Anyway, I though maybe there was some weird script note suggesting that actually this was the case with Crusher and at some point we'd meet her "black" parfents, lol. All these thoughts occured to me in the span of a split second, faster then I could "say them" in my head but then i saw it actually said "back" LOL

paultardspambot .

Pulaski may have been a better doctor but crusher is a much better fit and has more compassion especially for Data.

I liked both Crusher and Pulaski, honestly - Pulaski was like a female McCoy, imwo - but a lot of folks bristled at her cantankerous 'tude. It was nice to get Beverly back, but I was sad to hear that Muldaur didn't have a very good time behind the scenes. She was legacy Trek, and got treated like Prop #7 or something, apparently - the new crew had gotten kind of cliquish by then, and probably didn't care that she did a couple of popular eps from TOS. And to add insult to injury, the fans didn't entirely welcome her back as that character either, but they were thrilled to see Wesley and his mom reunited. Both of the TNG ladies (like Wesley) got sidelined a bit, but they paved the way for some STRONG female leads in future generations.

Then they might have to do the Wesley porking face one, too. hahaha

Please make my quote graphic into a tshirt for your store. I will BUY it!!! 🤣🔥

Shatner's Cigarette

Diana Muldaur didn’t want to do more than one season. The schedule for the show was brutal. 22 hour-long episodes in one year. That’s an episode every two weeks with practically no breaks. She decided she didn’t want to be a regular under that production schedule.

I kind of suspected you guys already knew... lying liar lie-faces!

Darin Wagner
