What’s Coming in March!
Added 2024-03-01 16:00:03 +0000 UTCHere on Patreon we will be finishing season 2 of TNG & watching a few movies including Star Trek V. Over on YouTube it’s going to be a big month for Audience Cut with episodes coming out almost weekly. We would love for Star Trek Monday-Thursday and Audience Cut on Saturday to become our regular weekly schedule, so this month will be somewhat of a test for that. We don’t necessarily plan on making any big adjustments based on the results, but we will treat it as an indication if there’s enough interest in an Audience Cut video for every movie we watch on Patreon.

I hope that you are not disappointed with Star Trek V. I actually like it a lot, regardless of it's ...problems. Please bear in mind that it was a project that almost did not get made, and it suffered from "production hell".

On the one hand, it's entirely possible they will love The Final Frontier in the way they loved other things that people told them they were going to hate, or they're going to be lock-step with the general consensus. One thing is for certain, though. Star Trek V, at the very least, should make for a very interesting AC. Looking forward to Crimson Tide. It's one of those early 90s movies that came out in a sea of other fantastic films built on, hinging on, the performances of the leads. Very curious to see what the guys make of this, and also, for the Patrons to step up and start pushing for more movies from that era to get reactions. Remember in their Stargate reaction they didn't seem to know about what made 1993-1995 so big in movies? Well, let's teach em!

I haven't watched the Abyss in probably 15 years, so I'm looking forward to that reaction and Crimson Tide as well (a movie I haven't seen before).
