I liked this episode. And I didn’t like much in s1. This was interesting and felt trek like. When I say I”liked this one” I’m speaking relative to other s1 episodes. It’s definitely not one of my all time favorites but it does deal with issues we are dealing with in real life now as far as AI. I’m glad I wasn’t drinking coffee when you said “you might have heard of his ancestor” because I would have spit it on my screen. A genuine LOL.

2023-12-03 18:44:41 +0000 UTCWell, that's due to the different natures of the two shows. TNG is fully episodic by the modern standards of the streaming era, but it's still much more serialized than TOS, as was already normal for episodic series in the late 1980s.
