2023-11-07 05:19:45 +0000 UTCI don't think I could take this episode seriously due to the Edo costumes and their appearance. It didn't seem like they found a brilliant way to end the episode; I remember being disappointed in that. I was wondering if the episode was partially inspired by the -- Caning of Michael Fay -- which took place in Singapore, a country which has little crime and punishes small crimes very severely; however, that small international incident took place about 7 years after this episode.

2023-11-06 23:53:11 +0000 UTCIts always going to be subjective but I disagree. There are at least 2, possibly 3 great episodes in Season 1. No spoilers for the boys but there are a few nuggets of gold to come.
