2 per week is twice as fast as most creators do a show, so I appreciate the quick pace lol

2 per week is what we can handle right now, but to be honest even if we were able to dedicate more time to the channel, we probably wouldn’t do more than 2 per week. We want to enjoy the journey, and wouldn’t want to burn through the entire series in a year. We can only watch it for the first time once.

Have you guys considered doing 3 episodes a week instead of 2? It would take the watch time, if my math is correct, from 20 months to 13.5 months. If that's too much load then that's understandable.
Anyways, happy to be on this journey with you guys! Star Trek is some of my favorite sci-fi on TV.

I think Josh was a bit how I was when I saw Admiral McCoy in the pilot 36 years ago. Am I really seeing this? Is this really real? He looks different, but I know that's him. It was sort of a reworking his arrival from Star Trek: The Motion Picture, as you kind of knew that it had to be him when they mentioned reluctance to use transporters. Since I guess the novelization of Star Trek: The Motion Picture stated that McCoy was drafted back into Star Fleet while working with the Fabrini culture, they should have found the actress who played Natira in For the World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky and added her to the scene with a long white wig. Then when Data mentioned Vulcans, she could have said that he misses his friend. Then the viewer has to wonder if Spock is still alive and whether McCoy and Spock eventually became friends later in life like John Adams and Thomas Jefferson or might have become like two friends who just kind of pretend to be annoyed with each other.

Ah, makes sense. I'm 62 and have been best friends with a guy since the 5th grade. We know each other so well that we can read each others mind.

Holy crap! Thank you!
As far as I know no, likes don’t have any relevance on Patreon other than the community letting us know if they like a post I guess

I've never been good about Liking videos on YouTube. It's not that I don't want to, I just tend to forget to do it. Last night I took the time to Like 120 or so Target Audience videos I had previously watched, since I know it impacts YouTube's algorithm and I want to support this channel as best I can. This may be a dumb question, but what about Patreon videos like this one? Does Liking videos make a difference here?

I love that there are so many “it gets better” comments. It’s like taking your friend to your favorite restaurant, and the service is so so, the appetizers are lukewarm, and you’re afraid your friend is going to come up with an excuse to leave before the excellent main course heh.

Everyone thought it would be Family Guy in space... and then it just became a new Star Trek style show. It's even got some great social commentary in there. It's deftly handled. I love The Orville. I would tend to agree that it is better "Star Trek" then "Star Trek" has been lately.

When are you launching TNG on YouTube again? The 25th right?
I'll give this another watch. The uncut reactions and the edited reactions feel different because of the actuals how footage popping up.

I'm glad you gentlemen started this . Very cool that you are going to view the entire Star Trek series of tv shows and movies. Great excuse for me to watch them again, and I have been with Y'all. I finally figured out how to sync your full reaction videos with amazon streaming, forgive me for being an old fart and not that hip on the latest tech operations. You guys are great and doing a fantastic job, and love your reactions. Please don't stop. By the way...are you two brothers or related somehow?

Seth Macfarlane was a big TNG fan. So much so that he got one of the main composers for tng to do the music for Family Guy & of course he eventually got Patrick Stuart to play a spastic version of himself in American Dad. When Paramount started production for their new series he tried to get his own show, but they turned him down. He then went on to produce his "parody" series The Orville, which much of the fan base considers superior to all the new Paramount plus shows

I know this post is pretty long but it's about my history with ST. I got hooked on TOS in high school back in the midish 70s . This was after TAS aired and I never saw any of those but I do own the set now. I even went to a convention in my Senior year and met Walter Koenig and George Takei, although somehow I managed to lose the pictures I took. I saw the movies 1-4 in the theater. I haven't seen the other movies yet but I own them and will see them before you do. I was eager when I first heard of TNG starting up. I personally enjoyed most of Seasons 1-2 but yes, it does get much better, with the exceptions of a few notable episodes. I started watching DS9 when it began and thought it was OK, but near the end of Season 2 I could see what direction it was going and I lost interest. I know how it went was really popular with most other fans but I completely lost any urge to watch it, and how I thought it was going was pretty much how it went. I've only seen one episode of it since and haven't had any real urge to pick it up again, but I won't rule it out. I ended up seeing exactly one episode of VOY and it was just my luck that the one episode I saw is pretty much considered to be the worst of the series. Again, I won't rule out ever watching all of VOY but it won't be any time soon. I do know the major plot points and arcs from both DS9 and VOY. I haven't seen any of the other series and probably won't. And the reboot movies do not exist for me. I despise the very idea of them and it makes me angry that so many new fans consider them to be "real" ST when they wouldn't exist without the "real, real" ST. This kind of happened with another TV show that I love which ran for several seasons with many changes but I didn't mind the changes because the spirit of the series still felt the same. It was rebooted several years after it was canceled and I gave the reboot a chance. It just made me angrier and angrier as I watched each episode and although it was a comedy I rarely even cracked a smile. The charm and spirit from the earlier series was completely missing for me. I ended up not finishing the rebooted first season or anything that came after. It even spoiled my enjoyment of what I loved about the original and I couldn't watch it for a couple years, though I have since gone back to it. Of course, my feelings about ST in general are my own and I won't condemn anyone who likes it all.
