I think Sarah Michelle-Geller was cast as Daphne as her husband was a huge Scooby-Doo fan. The woman who played Real Natalie French was Jean Speegle Howard -- the mother of Clint Howard and Ron Howard. I've never seen her in anything except Apollo 13 and I think an episode of Roseanne where she played the naked older neighbor.
