2022-12-11 01:32:28 +0000 UTCSide note: The role of the "companion" is something that Battlestar Galactica hinted at in 1978 with the "socialator" but that obviously couldn't be explored in any depth on TV back then. Originally their plan was for Cassiopeia to be killed off in the pilot, but when they decided to bring her back they had her become a medical technician and would only rarely allude to her past life in the vaguest of ways.
