UNCUT REACTION - Firefly Episode 3: Bushwacked (with DVD sync)
Added 2022-09-12 22:05:54 +0000 UTCGot some comments that the first "exposition" scene that shows on Hulu when we watch is not on the DVD release, so we have attempted to add an additional sync and timecode to help with that.
Obviously we do not have the DVD for reference so, if you are one of the people watching on DVD - PLEASE let us know how useful this is for you or how it can be better. Appreciate it!

Synching up is always tricky. DVD release syncs are even worse since the framerate is different between areas. US DVDs have different framerate and runtime from European DVDs. that's why I have a hard time syncing Battlestar Galactica too. The best way to do it is just having the real footage in regular intervals so we can sync up properly. The timer alone unfortunately doesn't help. Sometimes you have different opening sequences, sometimes there's different frametime that needs correcting for etc. The easiest things to sync up are things that are streamed on Netflix or Youtube. Those usually are the same video file independent of area, so syncing is basically always possible. I rented "The Thing" on YouTube and the sync for that was perfect.

2022-09-14 10:11:37 +0000 UTCI'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet, but this show was very popular on DVD once it was canceled. So much so, they made a major motion picture called "Serenity" to wrap up the story.
