Patreon Payment Issues
Added 2023-08-02 23:54:07 +0000 UTCFrom what I've understood, Patreon has shifted some of its financial workings from San Francisco to Dublin, and this has led to all sorts of problems with payments. What used to be an internal transaction for U.S.-based Patrons has now turned international, leading many banks to mark these transactions as potential fraud. This change has also disrupted the Payoneer service, causing Patreon to shut it down until they can sort things out.
Just a heads up, you might need to reach out to their support if you're experiencing these issues. By the notification I got this morning, there might be at least 5 people in this situation.
Regrettably, there's not much I can do from my side to rectify this, but I can certainly offer a workaround. If you're having trouble with your payment, just give me a shout, and I'll give you access to the relevant docs/files (reminder that the next planned update is Saturday).
Hopefully Patreon can get their things straight and everything can roll normally again.
