Updates

To start things off: I'm looking for a way to boost my output speed in a way that doesn't result in burnout (or a loss of quality). To minimize the time spent in corrections and rewrites, I am looking for alpha readers.

Less to do with grammar or syntax, more to do with someone willing to stare the ugly rough-drafts in the face and point out whether something makes sense in either the larger or smaller scale (examples: "why would this character ever agree to do this?" or "These bandits were hella dumb for not having dug trenches...").

My ideal would be to have a sustainable 4 quality chapters a week for MaM, plus whatever else I'm working on.

Secondly, we have a current top candidate for Book 2 of Monsters and Maidens: "Alchimia Rex" (for reasons that should become more obvious as the story progresses... I hope). Though I am still open for suggestions (sadly "Monsters and Maidens 2 Electric Boogaloo" was deemed too rad for this world to handle).

Third on the list: "The Flesh is (Not) Weak". 

I won't be posting an update next week (maybe even the one after). The story is approaching the wrap-up point and I want to dedicate some serious neuron activity to it. It might have been short for what I'm used to writing, but it was an experimental thing, and it's time to move on to the next field test.

Expect a potential poll on what that next story might be soon-ish afterwards (might even start writing short bonus maiden-setting stories).

Lastly, I plan to tweak around how I post MaM-Vol4 over at Royal Road/Scribblehub. It's mostly for the sake of drawing in new readers (marketing is hard yo). It won't change things over here, just wanting to give a heads up.

I'll likely start publicly posting Volume 4 under its new title (whichever it ends up being) starting around the end of October.
