This movie remains so enjoyable because the good natured awkwardness is just so relatable. And no one is a better Mr. Darcy than Colin Firth. (His 'Pride & Prejudice' Mr. Darcy put him on the map... and here he's just as perfect as a modern Mr. Darcy.) Love Colin Firth. But I've got to say that his was peak cad from Hugh Grant. He plays it so delightfully that I'm glad his douchery is what the story turns on.
