You two misread the subtext between David and Alexis in the car in episode 4. One of the best scenes from the show... good relationship building moment for them. Alexis wasn't being smug. She gave very insightful advice and it was a heartwarming moment when she realized her older brother cared about her just as much as she cares about him.

2025-11-16 00:34:28 +0000 UTCSo I basically binged all your Schitt’s Creek reactions within idk maybe the past week to get caught up. I’m watching for the first time as well and I’m loving it! I can’t believe I put off this show for so long. I was saving it for a rainy day but I maybe saved it for too long. Then again, because of that, I now get to watch along with y’all for the first time. Haven’t seen a show like this that makes me feel cozy happy since The Good Place. I think this show is also now going in my rotation of feel good shows to play in the background when I need a pick-me-up. Anyway, now I’m all caught up and excited for the next episodes!
