This is why my grandkids are home schooled. When my youngest daughter was a Senior I got an alert on my phone that her school was on lockdown. Nothing like getting to the school not knowing what's going on and they won't let you in or tell you anything and fire trucks, EMS, Police everywhere. Ended up a kid brought a gun to school. He didn't shoot anyone but it was enough for me to drink a pint of Silver Patron that night to sleep.

2025-11-05 17:55:53 +0000 UTCSadly, school shootings are far too common in the US. One is too many, but we're on another level over here. I will say if a kid walks in to a school with a full auto MAC-10 and starts dropping people, that would definitely make international headlines.
