2025-08-25 12:03:10 +0000 UTCI'm so glad you both loved the movie! It's one of my top 10 favs of all time tbh. It's shot BEAUTIFULLY and was edited/made like a damn masterpiece. The deeper meaning behind it was great too. The director is a master at building tension as well. That border crossing scene had me literally tensed up to the max degree! The shot right after they return to base with the prisoner when Kate first starts yelling at Matt for them killing those bandits at the crossing was great too. The director chose to shoot their conversation from really far away which is very unusual but it was genius because it made it feel like we were eavesdropping on a conversation we were not supposed to hear. Emily Blunt and Benicio Del Toro were both phenomenal with the acting too, even the score was amazing. Overall such a top tier film.
