I think the Nicolas Cage course teacher played a teacher on Community before. We saw him teaching a made-up class if I remember correctly

One of the major reasons for that is when movies or TV shows used phone numbers that began with something else people would actually call the number for fun. The people that actually had those numbers started complaining about all the prank phone calls. No individual or business in the US has a phone number beginning with 555.
