I'm actually fully on Natalie's side. When Leonard pulled up in her boyfriend's car, wearing his clothes... she knew that he had done something to him. Then she found out his memory lapses are real. So her drug dealing boyfriend is missing (dead) with $200k missing... and his drug dealing partner, Dodd, is breathing down her neck. She was purposely goading Lenny to get him to hit her... so she could get him to take care of Dodd. She was stuck in an escalating situation... partly of Leonard's doing... and doing what she could to save her own skin. Afterwards, she still helped Leonard... so I think she did care. I don't blame her for taking her best chance to get rid of Dodd, after Lenny got rid of her Jimmy. It was a smart move.
