I think keeping them apart most of this season was a good idea. They spent the entire first season together so it was nice to see them on their own then finally bring them together again towards the end

I keep thinking the only true issue with this season is that we haven't had enough interactions between Maggie and Negan, they can act their asses off of each other when they're together and it elevates the whole show
