I'm one of the minority that liked this show. It 100% has its flaws, but I'm able to seperate my love for the comic version and this more grounded version. There was a ton of drama when Finn was cast which hurt a lot of peoples opinions of the show from the get go, but I think he's just fine. Joy and Ward are probably the two most interesting and dynamic characters in the whole Netflix side of the MCU. They're just so hard to get a read on and change like chameleons throughout the show. Glad you guys are enjoying the first watch!

I say this meaning no disrespect as I know the show as has a lot of fans. This simply isn’t the Iron Fist from the comics, I character that I loved. I've found that I often need to disregard the source material for a some marvel characters. When I can do that here, the show is much more enjoyable than the first time I tried to watch it. I really think Jessica Stroup and Tom Pelphrey (Joy and Ward Meachum) are the strongest characters in the show. Pelphrey's portrayal of Ward's journey in this show is incredible. Jessica Henwick and David Wenham ( Faramir) are also both excellent.
