2025-05-04 01:20:19 +0000 UTCThe visuals and score were outstanding. Though I personally tend to prefer a bigger focus on human characters over robot water battles in the dark. But thankfully Charlie Day and Burn Gorman really kept this afloat. My mind drifted during the battles. But it was overall fun. I prefer things like Edge of Tomorrow to this... as far as battling unbeatable aliens. But I can't complain... because I have my own guilty pleasure movies... like Face / Off. (Much rather watch Nicolas Cage & John Travolta be ridiculously & sublimely over the top than giant robots & creatures. John Woo, baby.)

2025-04-21 05:08:45 +0000 UTCGlad you enjoyed this one! Silly movie but what a fun ride. As far as the sequel goes, I'm not sorry I watched it at all and it did have some great moments in it, but for the most part, it didn't work nearly as well as this one did.
