Dexter S8E2 - Every Silver Lining...

Did El Sapo look familiar? He played Tomas on Walking Dead (one of the prisoners). I feel Trin would have noticed and poited that out :D Hope her power is back soon! or already even x

Elle

Good job on your solo reacting, Rob.

That moment when Dexter looks at the air conditioning unit and goes "nah" gets me every time 😂

First time watching for me as well and yeah, I haven't loved season 3 either nor 4 actually (maybe because it was too hyped up). Then it picked back up again but like I said this season feels refreshing It's always weird to watch a show years after its airing and to see how opinions seem to be crystallized within the fandom. I am enjoying it all throughout

FedeM

Understandable. I just really enjoyed it because I’ve been wanting Deb to find out about Dexter since like season 2 so it was cool to see how that turned out. Plus I also enjoyed the other plot lines as well it’s purely subjective I know a lot of people think everything after season 4 is bad but as a first time watcher I’ve been enjoying all of it. If I had to pick a least favorite season it would probably be season 3. Is this your first time watching the show as well or you’ve seen it before?

James

Deb finding out was definitely a highlight, and Hannah was an interesting character but in terms of the episodes' pacing, no... not as much. I found myself distracted at times until an important scene came along. This season there's a general vibe (thus far) that lets me enjoy the episode throughout even when nothing major's happening Just my personal taste of course

FedeM

You didn’t enjoy last season? It was one of my favorites

James

I am liking this season like I wasn't anymore since Lumen's. Thank you Rob for recording anyway

FedeM

The way the doctor says it has always been so chilling and weird to me… I love that they’re already showing us that Dr. Vogel has biases and is clearly not innocent. It’d be too easy to write a character like this and make her a goody two-shoes, and I think it would’ve made her a weaker character.

Seiinity

Dr. Vogel is one of my favourite characters of the show. She’s exceptionally well-written and really, really elevates this season. This allows us to explore some topics that were always there but lacked the conditions necessary for them to be explored, such as accountability, guilt, and some others in the future. Can’t wait for more!

Seiinity

Tell her if she can to put bag of ice in it. That's what we did earlier this year when my brother's fridge stopped working until a technician came to fix it.

Jenny Lee Villanueva

She still has no power but she said she will watch the reaction when she can and get up to date with everything. Hope she gets power soon cause a lot of food in the refrigerator will be thrown out otherwise 😞

Great episode I love this season so far. Seeing that scene at the end made me a lot less trusting of the doctor woman the way she hugged him and said that he was perfect gave me bad vibes. Still feeling so bad for Deb I’ve always just wanted her to be happy. Like someone else said it’d be cool if Trin could give her thoughts on these two episodes next week

James

Great job on the Solo reactions, Rob!

Anthony Ancona

It's a pity Trin couldn't join. It would be great if next week, before the following episodes, Trin could give some of her impressions she had on these two first episodes.
