The Telltale Game is a prequel which is backstory for Drummer,. highly recommend it. Not for nothing, I'd watch a Let's play of Rob and Trin going through it together. I think It took me one afternoon to get through it. It was a like cool visual novel with some mini-games. Cara Gee voices Drummer in it which is almost all the motivation I needed. It also covers some foundational stuff for teh events of the first season of the show if you pay attention to the story; like deep cut easter eggs basically.

2025-02-19 15:58:32 +0000 UTCThe cold opens on Laconia are adapted from a short story, Strange Dogs, and it freaked me the f out when I read it. The depiction of the planet's flora and fauna is almost exactly how I pictured it, too. Marco Inaros is a classic example of the charismatic "leader" who lives in his own sense of reality, thinks he's above all human law and blames everyone else when things go wrong, marking anyone who disagrees with him as an "other." I'd like to take that dopey man-bun and shove it down his throat...
