yeah i have my favorite movies but i usually try to get something that will be interesting to rob and trin thats why i always go for the classics or critically acclaimed type stuff. sometimes blockbusters as well. really want them to see mad max fury road. i dont know why that one has a hard time making it literally has everything and would be such a good react

I just wanted to add that the disappointment of some of us isn't criticism at Rob and Trin. I think we all love their videos, if we wouldn't, we wouldn't pay for it. I don't have much money for fun things but I really like to pay for Robs and Trins great content!❤ The movies the community picked the last months were just much better in my opinion. And I am a very communicativ person. So I just want to say when I like things very much or not at all. That's it. I don't even think about stop being here. I watch R & T every day, I hardly ever watch some movies or shows without them anymore.😁❤

I only subscribe to one other and it's only to watch Stranger Things (again, lol) but it's double the price, no real upload schedule; just a few days a week, and the tags and collections are a mess. They have great audio and visuals though. People really don't know how good they have it here. Rob and Trin literally tick EVERY box for great reactors and a great channel.

Rob & Trin, I don't care what movies win the polls. It is not about me, it is about the two of you and whether you get any enjoyment with a movie you have not seen before. I like spending virtual time with you. Of course like everyone here I have my favorites, but I am open to watching something I have never seen. If I don't like it then I don't watch it. I don't want to get maudlin or come across as creepy, but I find comfort in your smile, your voices, your laughs, your insights and even your tears. So it really isn't about the film we are watching, but the company we are keeping. As we said in the 70s U.S.-Keep on Truckin.

My movie preferences don't tend to align with the majority but they put so much content on this channel that in the months where there are only one or two movies I feel like watching with them, I'm still getting my money's worth because I have something to watch every day. I've been subscribed for a year and I haven't even gotten to all their older reactions.

Suggestions for Rob and Trin picks: Deep Impact, Event Horizon, Mad Max: Fury Road, Pitch Black, Twelve Monkeys. Any of those would be nice. I'm with some of the others here...hard to see just the recent big blockbusters win that honestly (in the world of movies) have been sub-par imo. There are also a lot of other great ones that didn't even make the list. Maybe we can get to those sometime too!

Yeah, it's not that certain opinions don't matter, it's more that if someone should feel negatively it would be more beneficial to be constructive with their feedback. I imagine (I can't say for sure) that Matthew was referring to the many negative comments we see where there's nothing constructive or helpful to guide future polls and just a case of 'rubbish again!' or the likes. I think positive or negative, it can always be difficult through typed messages to really grasp anyones tone, so it can be tricky to word things sometimes to get our true meaning across :)

Democracy is not perfect. But it is the best system we have. I would like only smart people to vote. I would rather live in a world where smart people are deciding the direction of the world, but that would mean that not smart people would not have a say. But imagine the world, where the decisions are made by top 5-10-20 percent of smartest people. Currently for 1 smart person voting there is 1 dumb person voting. Democracy is not perfect, but it is fair and the best system we have.

Couple of suggestions for future polls: Movies based on literature (fiction and non-fiction/graphic novels), Indie films, movies based on a true story, and possibly have a directors month - people vote on directors and Rob and Trin choose one film from the winners? Would also love something like a monthly competition where the winner can choose one film for Rob and Trin to watch. Just a couple of ideas!

I'm sorry, that's not at all how I meant my comment to come across. I could've been more specific. (And maybe less of a dick about it). Your differing opinion is of course valid, I was speaking more to the people who each and every month make it seem like they're being wronged by the movies that win the polls. If I were Rob and Trin, those comments would make me feel guilty for something that I had nothing to do with. We're all paying customers, and I get that that comes with a level of expectation, so this poll system can be frustrating for a lot of people.

I'm more than happy to watch any movies with Rob & Trin. I understand the frustration when it's blockbuster movies (especially when you can see things on the poll that you KNOW they would enjoy much more if they won), but at the end of the day, this is a numbers game and quite rightly so. Choosing something that is the most popular gets the greatest audience increases views and increases success for the channel and them as reactors, as well as bringing more people here to Patreon. Still my favourite reaction channel.

I totally get that. I really do. There have been a number a months where my only reason for sticking around was the one day a week I got a reaction to 1 episode of a show I've seen. But I guess my thought process was just "oh well, maybe next time". I just didn't want Rob and Trin feeling like they weren't giving people what they paid for, cause they have no say in the polls. I could've worded my original comment better, though. Maybe we could suggest a "lesser known", "underrated", or "indie" genre poll every so often? Give the little guys a chance :)

Those comments (including my own) are an expression of the frustration some people are feeling about only mainstream movies winning. But as always R&T picks will compensate so everyone will be pleased. THAT'S why everyone is still here and happily paying every single month. :) (Either for the winners, the picks, sometimes even both - that's what makes this channel so great. People just like to complain. They always will. So do I. :P)

To the people who always complain-- who are those comments for? Are they for Rob and Trin? They don't choose the movies. Are they for the other patrons? Well we're the ones who suggest and vote for the winners...so obviously a majority of people here don't share the same negative opinion. What do you want us to do? It may be frustrating, but if they continue the channel for a long time, theyll eventually get all of the Hollywood blockbuster (mostly) shite out of the way with and be left with everything else, should end up being a string of decent titles in the distant future, Children of Men didnt even make the poll and it beats out the majority of the films in the poll xD happy about Blade though, proper 90's classic and before the whole 'Marvel' thing took over

Wow, I feel sorry for Rob and Trin having to read through these comments. So much negativity and complaining. They have the BEST Patreon; it's the most affordable, organized and they pretty much stay on schedule. I don't understand people who come here, feeling entitled, and complain about the majority vote. I've seen all but two of these, and none are the best of the first two polls. In fact the first 2 polls didn't even have the 4 best movies. Just my opinion.
