That’s if this post means a choice between three different genres, Drama or Historical or True Story. If so you may as well have had a completely open poll, considering how wildly wide that choice can be considered, as shown by many of the suggestions. It’s disappointing that you ignored requests for clarification. Drama/Historical looked linked to quite a few of us, and would have made more sense.

My take on this is historical/drama-a film that takes place well in the past but does not need to be based on a true story. For example, I suggested Last of the Mohicans that is a drama based in 1757. Historical is technically any story that occurred in the past, however it generally means a past prior to your own personal history. A true story can be any film based on actual events, such as the excellent suggestions of The Impossible, or Spotlight.
