I never made it past the first half of the book so I wasn't sure how it went I just knew it side tracked hugely. Lol c

Shelley

Outside of a few characters' names and the basic concept... the tv series went entirely its own way, from the book series, from the start. Rothenberg started filming before the 1st book was even officially published. The pilot episode is the only thing that moderately resembles the whole 1st book. But I do think the book series was basically wrapped up as much as intended by the author... just in more of a young teen drama way. I'm sure she could write more if the mood strikes her though.

There Do Law And Order SVU Next 25 Seasons 450+ Episodes And Counting

Anthony Tucceri

The books where never finished up past a certain point and the show went right off script hence I think the not so brilliant but passable ending , they never had anything to go off. I'm sure the books aren't finished , someone correct me if I'm wrong though please x

Shelley

The YouTube uploads are uploaded on weekends so it's kinda cool rewatching with them again

Shelley

I can't believe it's over

Zreston Costello

Cardigan was in fact not correct he believed it was a war it was Jordan who was correct in that it was a test and cadigan was so arrogant he believed even if it was a test he would pass it and the fact is we will never know if he would've

Holliday

I guess there is no more spoiler alert...this is why I've been saying Raven is the best character on the show and I still need someone to do a compilation of rob roasting her sarcastically throughout the show 💜💜💜

Alyssa Dyson

I am that guy... who really loves The Expanse!

Eisbär

well that's a strange way to put in. She thought of her recent miscarriage while acting out the scene, yes.

Gilstead

Well, RIP the 100, long live The Expanse

Deathhead

It's not a goodbye just a , may we meet again... and we will over on the YouTube uploads this weekend 😅 but in all seriousness thank you both for going with this one. 7 seasons is allot to commit to and especially off the back of walking dead for so long glad it was worth it for use. Appreciate you both 🙏🏼 ❤️

Shelley

For me, season 7 is still better than season 6. Season 6 really didn't fit into the cruel world of The 100 with this colorful Sanctum. And the graphics were terrible. Season 7 would have been really cool if they hadn't used the theme of transcendence, but just made the disciples the main enemy.

It has been such a pleasure to join you guys on this fantastic series. I think Rob is right in that there will never be a perfect ending for everyone, but I think we can agree it was a great story and it is always sad when the characters we love come to an end. Excited for the next show :D

Gooner

I do agree about Clarke but not on Cadogan. Doesnt matter how he portrayed himself infront of his people that he was a nice person that is going to save human rase but his ego was so high in his ... That he was willing to do whatever just so he can be the one who starts the test like burning Becca or causing Madi to have brain damage. None of them (Cadogan or Clarke) was the right to take that test. If it was me i would pick Raven or even if Bellamy was still around then i would pick him since he was all into that

The 100 just ripped off Stargate in two last seasons.

Jaroslav Dočekal

The thing is Rob🤣️that in show like The 100 u cant have expectation how it ends. Show was always so random in what they were going through and this was totally unexpected as we were watching idk season 1-5 or even season 6. Same with me... i normally can predict how show ends or have certain image in my head how i want it to end but with this show i couldnt. I just didnt know what to expect and feel so i never actually pre-planned scenario how i wish it ends. And how it actually ended... it was probablly the stupidiest ending from all tv shows i ever watched. Whole transcendence thing was total bs. I liked the actual ending with them returning back and living the rest of their lives as a group even tho i was little sad that Bellamy wasnt there at the end but whatever Still The 100 could have been my most favourite tv show even infront of the likes of Walking Dead but season 7 killed it for me. This season is never getting more than 5/10. There were still some good scenes and moments but whole story was stupid and there were so many bottle episodes and mysteries and bs. Also it felt incomplete without whole crew. I liked Bellamy and i appreciate others but it felt like something was missing for whole season. Obviously personal problems were a thing but still i would love to find out how it could have ended if Bob Morley was also around for whole thing and writters didnt have to scrape a story from their a$$. And if this was actually what they planned then i need to appluad them because they must have been high while writting it🤣️🤣️

That "my baby" scene with Madi and Clarke always gets me because it supposedly wasn't scripted. Eliza (Clarkes actress) had recently had a miscarriage before filming and that line was added in by her.

Leksa

I still can’t really understand your obsession with Clarke. She’s the biggest egocentric dick in the universe. Cardogan was in fact correct, his means are in total way more focused and humanity-centric than Clarkes stupid actions.

Great Show Indeed Even With The Downs

Now The Finish Of Fear The Walking Dead Oh Boy

Anthony Tucceri

Its been an amazing journey, this show is on my top 3 for sure!

Hisoka

emori was there at the end she’s in the pink

Shaniyah

Btw Emori was there at the end, since she transcended she was able to return to her original body!!

darg

Holy shit we’re here at the end I can’t believe it. This show has been a hell of a ride with so much happening. Apparently the actress for Clarke had a miscarriage around the same time of this filming so her crying “out my baby” hit very different she’s an incredible actress. Raven was finally useful for something after 7 whole seasons, the music was on point, the acting was on point everything about the least episode I loved. This really was the perfect ending everyone is together and lives happily ever after. It’s honestly realistic that Clarke couldn’t pass the test, don’t get me wrong I will be a Clarke defender until I die, but she did commit some horrible crimes. Wow this was amazing I’m so happy to have been on this journey with you guys, hopefully they decide to do the prequel at some point.

James

Bellamy was just one in an ocean of deaths on this show. In the big picture, he was just a drop. Not crucial to the endgame for me. And he was only right in that trancendence was real -- which we already knew from Becca going thru the portal and coming back saying: we're not ready. He was not right about aligning with Bill Cadogan or his ways of cutting off personal ties. Others have mentioned: the concept of humans evolving beyond their corporeal forms to beings of just higher consciousness -- has been around a long time in Scifi. Usually they are very judgey of lower life forms. You're worthy or you are not. This has been shown in Star Trek and Stargate, etc... It's not virtual like ALIE. It's true evolution. So this is no strange reckoning for a scifi series where humanity repeats cycles of destruction. Except for the bad cgi glowy trees, It delivered on what counts. The more I rewatch, the more I enjoy the whole road to this full circle.

BadCode

Also, Emori was there at the end! Not just in Murphy's head, haha, she was actually present, in the purple-ish sweater!

lol

yep it's true, so heartbreaking and awful

darg

Personally I don't think they stuck the landing at all, from bellamy's weird flip/death to the transcended who baffle me. They talk about humanity being too violent..yet genocide anyone who fails the test? Also we know very little about the transcended, could easily be some sort of trick. A few seasons ago, Clarke was willing to gamble on humanity's existence against Allie who was going to give everyone "peace" in the city of light, isn't that sort of transcendence too and what they were trying to avoid? The final gang on earth is sweet..as long as try to avoid thinking about repercussions of being the last tiny group of people alive. But still a great show, may we meet again.

Nick

Man, I still remember reading that apparently they made Eliza (Clarke) record that scene with Madi at the end of episode 15 saying "my baby, my baby" after she had a miscarriage and if that's true, that's so wicked... Rewatched the show a few times, but the scene still gets me tears streaming like Niagaras.

lol

It was a blast rewatching one of my favorite shows with you guys! May we meet again

darg

In my book, they stuck the landing. It was satisfying and I loved it. I'd much rather watch a show that has some flaws, but ends well.... than a more high bar show that ends disappointingly. Thanks for going on the journey. Here's to our final gang on Earth... 6 Arkers, 5 Grounders, 2 next gens, Levitt, and Picasso... One family at last. May we meet again.

Octavia
