not to excuse her actions, but a lot of people forget Octavia was under the floor for 15 years, s1-4 happen in a 4 month time span and then shes under the floor again for 6 years - trapped in fact. of course to most people the algae farm is a fantastic idea, but you can also see why she isn't jumping at the opportunity to live longer under the floor, she wants to be above ground.

That's why Monty's plan didn't give her the answer. She wanted both, to march to war AND have Bellamy alive.

2024-03-21 23:35:47 +0000 UTCI always thought the scene was about Madi killing the guy mercilessly now that she "is a commander" and cares about "her" people compared to how she was in the beginning of the *season, willing to give chances. Clarke looked stunned by her action, so I always thought it was because of Madi's actions rather than the bullet, as perhaps Clarke would take the prisoner up on his offer to get them to the camp instead of killing him. It's interesting to see other opinions and views on the scene.

2024-03-19 17:20:48 +0000 UTCDamn Octavia has lost the plot even if they go to war, she burned down an entire farm that could have fed her army to help them win. Madi and Clarke though are a badass duo you can tell Madi learned well from Clarke not wanting to waste the bullet
