Seven pounds is such a good one

None of this is real life and I only question movie and fictional tropes, just fyi 💕

'Why they hell wouldn't they suspect the robots?!' Rob says this a few times. Like we dont live in a world where we blindly accept the information on our phones, or trust them with our secrets... And they dont even have faces! Yes we're all sceptical but we accept the good with the bad even as these tools are used to manipulate and get smarter every day! Rob predicts few plot points but only because this notion of robotics and laws literally came from I Robot by Asimov. This film makes it much more entertaining but honestly nobody is smarter than their computer or the plot of this film

George Baxter

Another Greenwood role that surpasses the label of jackass is Double Jeopardy. Very good movie. He is diabolical in that film.

I love this movie and you guys did a great reaction!! You know, I always had this personal headcanon that, Sonny did in fact have a "ghost in the machine".. Dr Lanning put so much of himself into building Sonny to be different from the other NS-5s and it has pretty much convinced me that in some way, he may have imbued Sonny with a portion of his own soul in the process. It sounds silly I know, but I do think in some way, perhaps this became Sonny's "ghost". Even tho he had a "brain" and a "heart", he acted incredibly human. Just something I would think about, watching this movie :).

Namari

That personality that he displayed in this movie is why Will Smith rules the decade of the 2000's.

Lovaire Hawkins

How soon they forget the epic team-up of Will Smith & Jeff Goldblum in Independence Day. (And Will Smith dragging an alien across the desert.)

Octavia

I am legend is on the channel, look it up :)

Miroslav Blabla

I'm legend? independence day? 😊

Marisol Ferreira

Love this one a lot!

trlb

that, and the "I'm allergic to bullshit" line, I'm guilty of using it ever since

Yep it's a whole new world, my husband's job went automated last year, blue collar workers will be hit hard, but also ai for news readers etc. There has been discussions brought up by Elon Musk and others about how a large percentage of worldwide jobs being automated will lead to a society that will need to be given an income for not working which will likely have to come from the people earning big bucks from not having to pay workers being highly taxed, which kind of makes sense because no matter what you make if we can't afford to buy it, it's worthless, but I think there could be some very interesting years where the Rich and the Poor become an even bigger divide than there is now

Kim Magee

We need to get them to watch that one.

Cynthia

Just saw you called Bruce Greenwood a jackass (well, looks like one :) ), you'll like him in Star Trek (2009). He's great.

I think instead of 2035, we will have this "robot" world by 2030. That plus AI and say goodbye to 80% of all jobs. Entertainment industry will last the longest. So your YouTube channel can theoretically give you more financial security and options then what an engineer or programmer has. It's a good investment of time and effort.

Of course Lanning could just write a note explaining to Spooner about VIKI and her plans, then put the note into his pocket before being thrown from the window. But then we wouldn't have the movie.

I’ve heard this movie referenced for years I wanted to watch it for so long now and it was really good, absolutely not what I was expected

James

Throwing down a sith emperor with electricity to defeat them lol

IsaMeM4RIO

Alan Tudyk (Sonny) does some of my favorite voice acting work. He also was in the shortlived show Firefly and he has a series right now called Resident Alien that is absolutely amazing. I love this movie and I'm so glad you guys watched it! Editing to add that I just started the video and Rob's joke about the shower and Trin's "pictures or it didn't happen" have me cracked up 😂

Emmy

Will Smith has a decent amount of good movies. Not all of them are comedies. One of my favorites is The Pursuit of Happyness (based on a true story).

Anika

the same guy who voices sonny also voiced K2SO in rogue one

Slender man

Please don't volunteer me, since my alter ego is Darth Sidious, to throw myself down a shaft while throwing Force Lightning...it is such a sithist comment!...lol.

Anthony Ancona

The wink will forever be one of my all time favorite scenes. Sonny is one of my all time favorite movie characters

Schmaster

Havent seen this movie since it came out so im excited to watch it again.

Alyssa Dyson

I'm watching him on a TV series and love him even more!

Jenny Lee Villanueva
