(Not to mention that if he did not find ALLIE, we would not know about all of this, so that is kinda interesting as well.) I do not think that Luna would give the bunker to everybody, I think that she was done with humans and wanted them to die - to end the violence (somehow :D) The question is, what would happen, if Luna won. Would other clans go with it and just die or would they fight? The similar question arises with literally every clan winning, would other clans just comply and die or was the decision to share the bunker neccesary to peacefully take the bunker? My thoughts were to share the bunker, but not equally, just get all of Skycrew in and share the rest. Again, not necesarrily equally. You have many allies in Trikru, yet no allies in that one random clan? You give more spots to Trikru,... Roan was helping to find a nightblood solution? + spots Azgeda. Azgeta betrayed us with the fuel? - spots,...

2024-01-30 17:32:01 +0000 UTCI 100% agree with y’all. I’m obsessed with Octavia. I’ve even had dreams of her before 😂 She’s just so badass. I’m in love. This was one of my favorite episodes just in general. I’ve always appreciated the fight choreography in The 100 and in this episode, they really get to show off a lot of fight choreography and use that choreography to mirror the themes they’ve so far explored. Octavia showing up with all the badges and saying she fought for everyone is so badass.

2024-01-30 17:22:19 +0000 UTCI see what you're saying about each fighter not having the final say. That's really interesting. I've never looked at it that way... I guess because of Luna. She had no clan left... but if she won, she would decide for everyone. (Though, I always think... would every clan have actually gone along with her decision? Seems ridiculously unlikely in the face of extinction. But their faith runs deep.) In my view, since they've purposely set it up as an adhoc Conclave... it *is* setting up that the victor is the the new person in charge. So Octavia does get to determine the outcomes. I do feel like SkaiKru and Trikru should get more spots than the other clans. Because Jaha wouldn't have found the bunker without Gaia & Indra. And, as you said, SkaiKru is trained to keep the bunker in working order.

So hype to see the finaly approaching, strap in!

Yes, taking the bunker was clarke's idea and it was a bitch move but it was also Clarke's idea to save everyone from the start and others refused! Octavia was unbelievably good this episode and Roan had a good run but he will be missed. Luna was cool but not as cool as Magda imo ;) Apart from some frustration in the end, this was an amazing episode

2024-01-30 11:18:09 +0000 UTCClarke was the one who wanted to share the bunker equally. She was even willing to become Heda to do it. They refused and called for the conclave, where realistically, Skycrew did not have much chance of winning. Terms of the conclave were given. 1 fighter for each clan. The winning clan gets the bunker. Octavia has no right to share the bunker without Skycrew's consent. It was not hers to give, she was just representing Skycrew. The bunker is Skycrew's. They can share it, take it for themselves, or fill the remaining spots with whoever they choose. She can say all she wants that she fought for everyone, but in fact, she did not because she took the spot that represented Skycrew. It would be a different story if there was not a rule for 1 fighter for 1 clan. She could fight and represent anybody at that point. But she took the 1 spot that represented Skycrew, therefore she fought for Skycrew only. To Skycrew taking the bunker. I totally get why. Was it a bitch move? Maybe. But agian. What if they do not win? Humanity is doomed. Grounders do not know how to run farms and technology in that bunker. They have no clue what to do. They would at least need some Skycrew members to run the bunker at least for a while, until they could learn to do that. (And why would Skycrew teach them, they could kill them after) Would other clans let Skycrew in the bunker? I doubt that. That mentioned, of course I would be pissed at Skycrew if I was one of the other clans. But from outside view, I totally get it. And again! Clarke was the one who wanted to share the bunker and she tried so hard to do it. They refused.

2024-01-30 04:46:47 +0000 UTCOne of the themes of The 100 is tribalism. The instinctive 'my own people matter more' perspective... and can we ever truly let it go. So I can imagine Clarke and Jaha's thinking... much like Echo... that the odds weren't in their favor. And that if Luna won... which seemed a high probability... they'd all be really screwed. It's still selfishly cheating, but I get it. Who wouldn't chose to get their whole family into safety... rather than only 10-20 percent of them. Funny thing is, I bet that Bellamy might agree with them... if Octavia and Kane weren't locked out right now.

(And wasn't it cheating to kill 300 people while they were sleeping? Yet Bellamy gets forgiven in a hot second.) Is it any wonder that Echo has this mindset after years serving Queen Nia? I really don't think Nia would tolerate anything less than ruthlessness - or else. Not so easy to break that training.

And he just got back from his trip with Skaikru... to find they'd flip-flopped alliances. And were once again, not being straightforward with him. Which is understandable, but not from Roan's pov.
