Noah was shook. Since he kept the missing pages from Adam... he seemingly realized that Claudia was right, he's been misled. I enjoy this show's take... that free will is an illusion. Because we are who we are... we are bound to make the same choices. Which then aren't really choices.

As well as making peace with the past. As a girl she obviously adored her father, but successful career Claudia didn't have any time for him. As an old woman about to meet her end, she has regrets.
