I got a recent deal for Disney+ for a year and was so tempted to start watching Hawkeye as he is one of my favorite Marvel characters. But, I told myself, and yes I do talk to myself or should say swear at myself, I am going to wait and watch this with Trin & Rob. So glad I waited. I am really enjoying Hawkeye and you two make it so much more fun. Thank you.

You can see & feel that Clint is carrying the weight of it with him, his wife mentioned that the getting captured move was right out of Nat's playbook, and his youngest, Nate, was named after Nat. Love that we can almost feel her beside Clint.

2023-12-11 23:42:04 +0000 UTCThis show definitely teased us after the first two episodes dropped together and then having to wait while the rest of the episodes dropped on a weekly basis. Rewatching with you guys brings that weekly excitement back. Once again it’s a countdown to Christmas, MCU style!!! I really enjoy the callbacks and parallels to the previous films in these shows. It was great when Rob commented on how Clint getting “captured” reminded him of Natasha in Avengers, and I love that Lora mentions that it was one of Nat’s old moves it in the episode as well. They have always done a great job of highlighting how important Natasha is/was to Clint’s family and how supportive his family is of Clint and Natasha’s friendship and his chosen profession. Another fun episode down, next week’s episode is a favorite for sure 🏹🎄🏹

So since her mom knew she was OK it's not a far stretch to figure Ms bishop thought it was Kate making trouble. If it was a big deal Kate would have mentioned it on the phone

2023-12-11 00:19:26 +0000 UTCYess another episode! Clint definitely has major dad vibes with Kate, he just naturally steps into that role. Even when he first found her, after getting over the shock, the first thing he did was ask if she's okay and immediately decided he needed to take care of her. And Clint's use of a hearing aid is finally explained! Clint, Natasha and Tony were really the only regular humans of the original Avengers and it makes sense that after the YEARS over fighting and explosions he's been through, there'd be some consequences. I have such a soft spot for Kate, she's so terrible at investigating and keeping her cool, but it's so endearing and funny I can't get too mad at it. Can't wait for the next episode, it's my favorite!
