This, but Danai also left because she was going to be the showrunner for the TV adaption of Americanah: A novel by Adichie, Chimamanda Ngozi. Lupita N'yongo was going to star in it with Danai at the helm. Sadly, the network cancelled production of it before it even started pre-production. Not sure what happened there.

Almost had me in tears the first time I watched it, because it was the first time in 2 and a half seasons (and many, many years in the show's timeline) that she had a sliver of hope that Rick might be alive. Great episode 😊

I never saw another perpose for those to be them when it was never used prior. ALTHOUGH, as I type Im also realizing Judith clearly didnt have a call sign when Rick left as she was what...3? 4 maybe?? So that was a dumb assumption on my part too lol

It was leaked that she was leaving before this episode aired. I for once was glad it was spoiled because it was an episode that had me balling knowing one of our favorite characters would not return. I loved her character so much and really miss her😞😞

2023-08-22 17:14:50 +0000 UTCDid you guys hear theres a walking dead game in the works rn I think the release date is late 2024 but its all about like the actual main walking dead story except there will be choices, ect Shane kills Rick in S2, or like what you watched Michone leaves Andrea, ect ect everything will have a different choice to make the story different very exciting

Well in my mind, I always thought that it actually looked like old Michonne hairstyle. She doesn’t wear her hair like that anymore. As for Judith, Carl gave her the hat so it’s not hard to imagine what she would look like years later. But it can also be something else. Once again Michonne & Judith relationship is so beautiful and organic 😩

Still really impressive. The shot of Rick holding the python to Michonne was actually pulled from season 2 when he shot a turned Sophia!

2023-08-22 01:29:01 +0000 UTCWe also gotta remember that Jadis/Anne was the one who saved Rick from the river, and she was an artist with her paintings and sculptures so I am pretty sure that's who drew it on the phone, but idk how she would know what Judith would look like older unless it was just an artistic guess, I haven't watched the rest of the series yet since I just decided to wait to watch the rest with you, I am super intrigued with where this might head so I am excited to find out with you guys :D

She even quoted to Virgil, "My mercy prevailed over my wrath." Which she remembers Rick saying but also which Siddiq had said when he was introduced in Season 8.

2023-08-22 01:07:20 +0000 UTCThis is why you must watch TWD The World Beyond. I know many people hate the show almost as much as the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, but it is a piece of the puzzle. Season 1is clunky, but Season 2 is much better. It's only 20 episodes. I beg you to please watch it.
